At the end of 2011
Our studio had such a good year. Many of my students played in concerts and did well in the Eisteddfod this year. I had one student who passed his exam with merrit and 4 who passed with distitinction. At our end of the year concert it was so great to see how every student had progressed during this year. A blessed Christmas to all my students

Welcome to my e-Studio
I am a music teacher who teaches voice training and piano. During the past 5 years I have entered my soloist in Eisteddfods where they performed very well. My one student won the trophy for the under 10 soloist section.
For the past 15 years I have been giving private piano lessons and voice training from my studio at home. My students that I entered for Eisteddfods all did very well, and received A's and A+ symbols. My last 2 student who did their Trinity College exam both passed with distinctions. I enjoy working with beginners as well as more advanced students. Children as young as 4 can start with music education. Music is an essential part of a child's learning and development. Music helps a child to relax and improve his memory and sensory coordination. Playing an instrument helps a child with creative development and helps develop his fine motor skills. Children who actively takes part in music usually does better academically. But for me the most important fact is that children enjoy music. I would like to develop a love for music in all of my students.
I give all my students an opportunity to take part in concerts, even beginners can take part in beginner concerts. This builds confidence in the students. At the end of each year we have a studio concert where each child takes part and is rewarded for their work during the year with a certificate. Students who worked hard will also stand a chance to receive a trophy. Trophies are awarded for most promising senior and junior,
best progress and there is also a studio trophy which goes to the student who worked exceptionally hard during the year.
My studio is in Northdene (Queensburgh era) and anyone who wishes to join the studio or would like general advice concerning music education is welcome to contact me at 031 708 1561 or 084 401 5732. Please feel free to email me if you prefer.
